Our Policies

Please join us as we make ICC a safe, religiously sound and peaceful place for all community members of any faith. 

GENERAL 

– ICC has a ZERO tolerance policy for disturbance, shouting or fighting etc. anywhere on the entire premises of ICC and ISOC.
– Children under five years must be under their parent’s supervision. All children must be under control and disciplined. ICC is not responsible for any injury or damages in the case of any mishap or accident.
– During prayers, ladies will not be allowed in the main prayer hall.
– ICC and ISOC will not be responsible for any injury or damages resulting from playing or other activities on the parking lots, playgrounds or kids fun areas.
– Food and beverages will not be allowed in the hallways or prayer areas.
– Parking on driveways and fire routes is strictly prohibited. Vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
– Activities must be confined to facilities assigned for those activities.
– No unauthorized fundraising will be permitted.
– The exits must be kept free from obstruction at all times.
– Smoking is not permitted at any time inside the building or on the Mosque premises.
– No gathering or meeting of a political nature will be permitted.
– No storage space will be granted to outside organizations.

 

EVENT POLICIES 

– The number of people attending an event should not exceed the number specified in the application.
– No function of an un-Islamic nature will be allowed on Mosque premises. Islamic behaviour and code of ethics is expected by all participants.
– No gathering or meeting of a political nature will be permitted.
– Anyone renting a hall for an event shall be responsible for the conduct and supervision of all people attending the event and shall see that all regulations in this contract are strictly observed.
– Financial responsibility for any damages to the Mosque property will be borne by the applicant.
– During the course of the event, the applicant(s) bears responsibility for payment of any fee(s) charged by the Municipality or Fire department for a false fire alarm, or any such emergency.
– Any individuals affiliated with the applicant and/or event will not under any circumstances hold the Mosque responsible for any claims regarding damages against persons or property which may be brought about during or as a consequence of this event/activity.
– Any changes to the application (i.e. change of date, time, space, or equipment) must be notified to the management 1 week prior to the event.

 

EQUIPMENT POLICIES 

– Setting up and storing away tables and chairs (if used) will be the responsibility of ICC.
– No wiring shall be modified for lighting and/or sound systems including P.A. systems.
– The equipment to be used during the event should be the same as specified on the application. Other equipment’s must be approved by the Management at least 1 week prior to the event.

 

KITCHEN POLICIES 

– No storage space is granted in the kitchen before or after the event.
– Cooking or warming and/or serving of food through the kitchen is not permitted unless approved by the management.
– All leftover food, beverages, etc. should be removed from the premises immediately after the event. The Mosque will not be responsible if any of these items are misplaced.
– Garbage bags will be supplied by Mosque.
– All dishes (plates, glasses, utensils, etc.) should be removed from the halls and left in the kitchen.
– The kitchen area including other areas of gatherings must be cleaned properly before leaving the premises.
– Financial responsibility for any damages to the Mosque appliance will be borne by the applicant(s).
– Absolutely no children are allowed in the kitchen.
