  • Fundraising Pledges

    Thank you so much for attending the "2nd Annual Fundraising Dinner 2018" which was held on Saturday 01-December, 2018.
    The Fudraising Dinner was very important as the funds collected provide us with means for the "ICC and International School of Cambridge" and also support extraordinary needs & programs throughout the year.
    Most of the donation raised were pledges, kindly honour your pledges before the end of this year.
    We are a little short of our goal and still looking for about $18,000 to achieve our target, so please help us out in this regard.
    Donation forms are available in the office and masjid to fill out and return to us along with your cheques.
    We remind you that your donations are tax deductible!

  • Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (P.B.U.H)

    Mehfil-e-Milad-un-Nabi (P.B.U.H) is organized by Anjuman Ghulamaan-e-Rasool on Saturday 29-December, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in "Hall B" at ICC.
    Our special guest Naat Khuvaan, Syed Sabihudin Sabhi Rehmani has come from Pakistan and the Khitab will be by Shaykh Zia-ul-Haq Razi.
  • Parenting Workshop

    ICC is coming up with a series of workshops lead by Brother Omar Zia, so mark your calendars for the following dates:

    ✔The Impact of Social Media on Our Families

    ✔The Mental Health & Well-being of Young People

    ✔31-March, 2019
    ✔Blueprint for Good Mental Health

    The workshops will be held every Last Sunday of Each Month from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM in "Hall B" at ICC and the charges are $10/Session Per Person.

  • Smoke Free Ontario Act 2017

    Smoking and vaping is not allowed in public & private schools, including the grounds associated with the school and public areas within 20 metres of any point on the perimeter of the grounds of the school.
    Where a private school is not the only occupant of the premises, then the grounds designated for the school (e.g., a playground) and public areas within 20 metres of any point on the perimeter of those grounds are affected.
    It is also illegal to sell tobacco and vapour products in public schools and private schools.
  • Right Turn Only at Dunbar

    Please be informed that in order to ensure smooth flow of traffic after the 1st Session of Jum'ma Prayer, it is no longer permissible to make a left turn on Dunbar and International Village Dr. intersection.
    This right turn only rule will be implemented for the first 20 minutes after the prayer from 1:35 PM – 1:55 PM.

    The cornerstone of the Muslim community, reviving the Islamic Spirit returns this winter with a redesigned and reimagined experience.
    Featuring for the first time ever a RIS Youth Program, "RIS360 Stage" with over 15 internationally known artists and 24 internationally known speakers, artists (Including Moulana Tariq Jameel, Mehdi Hassan, Omar Suleman, Sister Rasheeda Ali (Daughter of Mohammad Ali).

    Islamic Centre of Cambridge (ICC) is arranging an 8 Months based program that will help Muslim youth to find purpose, identity and answers to some of the most complicated subjects, including:
    ✔The Need for Religion
    ✔The Concept of God and Proof of His Existence
    ✔Laws of Gender Relations in Islam
    ✔Case Studies About Day-to-Day Issues and Thoughts

    The program led by Sheikh Musleh Khan will run every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM starting 03-November, 2018 & this program will end on 22-June, 2019 and the charges are $25/Month/Child.

  • Friday Prayer By Dr. Munir-El-Kassem

    ICC is pleased to announce its guest speaker, Munir-El-Kassem who has lead the Jum'ma prayer today. He is a motivational speaker & charismatic personality and he is also a passionate speaker, effective fund raiser & community development councilor.
    He was educated at:
  • Al-Maqasid Islamic Institute
  • American University of Beirut
  • University of Western Ontario
  • University of Toronto
  • Dr. Munir-El-Kassem has worked in the University of Western Ontario as a Professor.
    Since his arrival in Canada, Dr. Munir-El-Kassem has been very actively involved in sharing his Islamic knowledge with Muslims as well as non-Muslims and he has also participated in interfaith dialogue throughout the world.
    He is also the author of many Islamic books and used to be a regular contributor to the London Free Press.
    We are thankful to him for sparing his time and coming to lead the Jum'ma Prayer.

    Haji Ansar Muhammad passed away in Pakistan on Friday 07-December, 2018.
    He was the brother in law of our respected teacher sister Saiqa, please make dua-e-maghfirat for him.

  • New Principal of ISOC

    We are happy to announce that Mr. Khokhar is taking the position of "Principal of International School of Cambridge (ISOC)".
    Mr. Khokhar is a career educator with varied experience in Secondary & Elementary education as a Teacher, Department Head, High School Vice Principal, Principal and Director of Education for the "ISNA School Board, Mississauga, ON".
    With undergraduate and graduate degrees and innumerable courses over the last four decades, Mr. Khokhar has not only been heavily involved in the education of young people but also actively involved in serving the community.
    Mr. Khokhar has been serving as the Executive Director of Islamic Centre of Cambridge (ICC) for the last 2 years.
